Tiruppur or Tirupur ( ), is a city and municipal corporation in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the banks of the Noyyal River in Western Tamil Nadu, it is the fourth largest city in the state. It is the administrative capital of Tiruppur district and is administered by the Tiruppur Municipal Corporation.
