Sihor is a town and a municipality in Bhavnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is placed along the river Gautami, and this erstwhile capital of the Gohil Rajputs, which is surrounded by hills, is situated about 20 km from Bhavnagar. The name 'Sihor' is a corruption of its earlier names, including Saraswatpur, Sinhalpur, Sinhpur, Sinhor, and Shihor.
